   In Where The Red Fern Grows there are two characters whose names are Billy and Ruban. I will describe them by comparing and contrasting these two characters. Billy and Ruban are similar in some ways and different in some ways. In the story Billy had two sisters and Ruban just has one younger brother. Ruban was a mean person and did not stand up to his word. Billy would stand up for his word and Billy is a nice person unlike Rubin. Billy hunted with two hound dogs but Rubin hunted with one big dog. Sadly Rubin tripped and fell on an axe and was stabbed and soon after that he died. Billy thankfully lived through the hole story but came close to death. But sadly Billy's dogs died.

We are now reading a book called Number the Stars. It is a very interesting story. It is in the World War ll time period. I will compare and contrast two characters for you. I will compare and contrast the characters Ellen, and Anne Marie. They are good friends. Ellen is a Jew and the story hasn't said what religion Anne Marie is. Anne Marie is afraid for her friend because it is not a good time to be a Jew in the story. She is afraid her friend will die. Anne Marie has a sister and Ellen doesn't. They are both nice people though.

   I think that the bombing at the church in Birmingham was a very mean and horrible thing to do. If you don't know what this bombing is I will tell you. It was a bombing at a church in Birmingham that the Klu Klux Klan did at a black church. Twenty two people were injured and four young girls died. The reason the Klu Klux Klan did this hatred thing is because the state no longer wanted the races to be separate and they were going to put blacks and whites in schools together and other conflicts and the members of the Klu Klux Klan opposed to this idea so they took action.

   I hope nothing like this ever happens again. Racism is a horrible thing. I hope that the horrible clubs and gangs like this will shrink through the years and eventually I hope that these kinds of horrible things will never happen again and there will be no more racism.

    The single most important thing I feel shows kindness is being friendly. If you are friendly to someone, most of the time they will be friendly back to you. But sometimes they won't. I think if you want to make a friend you have got to be friendly to them first. And that is what I think is most important thing to show kindness.

    The friends I have now aren't my friends because I was mean to them. They are my friends because I act like a real friend and I am friendly to them. Some people aren't friendly to me so I really am not there friend. So overall I think being friendly is the most important thing that shows kindness.

     Byron is a person who can be very crazy sometimes. Like the time he colored his hair and got a new hair due or the time his mom told him not to play with his toys in the bathroom with matches. He knew he was going to get punished bad so why would he do it. He ended up getting his hair shaved off and almost getting his fingers burnt off in his punishments. He cried in both of them. Here are some characteristics of Byron: Crazy, mean (Around his brother), tender hearted (When his brother isn't around), bad boy, and he cares for birds. He has odd characteristics. Byron has two sides of him, he is caring and nice, and he is mean and daring. Also Byron always tries to act cool.

      I know one guy who thinks he's all cool. And he acts all tough but he really cries a lot and he is caring. He sometimes even got annoying. It was noticeable sometimes that he was trying to act cool and he always acts tough and threatens people.
