  In class we have just recently finished the book, Where the Red Fern Grows. It was really good, but sad too! So on one of the parts in the book. A boy named, Rueben and his brother come in. The two boys are called, The Pritchard Boys. The difference between Rueben and Billy is...

  Rueben has a BIG attitude, and always wants to get his way. On the other side, Billy does not have an attitude. Billy also has a good reputation. Rueben, on the other hand, does not! Reuben also always wants to get his own way. Billy has a different hound than Rueben. Another thing is, Rueben chews tobacco and Billy does not. Also, Billy has not died yet, and he did not get an axe stuck in him. Billy and Rueben are very different, but one thing they do have in common is, THEY LOVE TO HUNT!

  We recently read a chapter in class about Byron getting a new hairstyle. What happens is Byron comes home one day with a hat covering his head. His mom was very curious about this, and asked him to take off his hat. He makes all sorts of excuses, but finally his mom takes it off for him. She was SO surprised. She could not believe it. Byron had gotten a CONK! A conk is a Mexican Style haircut colored with red and brown. These colors are chemicals so they cannot be taken out until a few days. His mom gets so mad that she just says wait till your dad comes. Joetta is really scared, and is telling Byron to escape. Byron does not escape and waits. So, when his dad comes home he is really mad, but appears calm. Anyways, after some time of being calm he takes Byron to the bathroom there he shaves his whole head! Now Byron can't be cool anymore, and Kenny says he looks like a baby. If I came home with a new hairstyle my parents would be really mad at me. I have no clue on what they would do, but I like my hairstyle the way it is, and I don't think I would change it!

   What is the single most important thing that you feel shows kindness? The single most important thing that I feel shows kindness is...a friendly smile. A friendly smile will make someone feel happy inside if the are blue, or not in a good mood. A friendly smile sometimes shows sympathy too. Another thing is a friendly smile expresses your personality to the other person. If you are grumpy all the time, a person most probably won't want to be your friend, and won't think your very kind. Sometimes a friendly smile will also express someone's outer opinion of something. So, a simple thing to do is smile to keep a smile on everyday, and you will make someone's day.

   Since we are reading a book called, The Watson's. I will give you a characterization of Kenny. Kenny is nice, but he is cross-eyed. He is also very talkative sometimes. Another thing is Kenny loves to read. Kenny also likes to play games, and last, but not least Kenny always gets bullied by his brother. Anyways, do you know someone similar to Kenny?

   Someone I know who is similar to Kenny is my friend. My friend is a nice person to talk to. She loves to read, and play games. Sometimes my friend can be very talkative. She also loves to put on a show or tell a story just like Kenny. I like my friend, and she reminds me of Kenny.    

  In class we have just started a new book called, The Watson's go to Burmingham. I really love the book so far. It is filled with so many hilarious events! Like, the last one we read was about how two of the characters in the book, Byron and Kenny. Byron is a bully who can sometimes be nice, and Kenny is Byron's brother who is very nice, but has some difficulties with bullies bullying him! Kenny is scared of Byron. Ok, so what happened was Byron told Kenny that if he did not eat the Swedish Cream Cookies with him then something would happen, and since Kenny is very scared of Byron he did not object. So, they both were sitting, and eating loads of Swedish Cream Cookies on a tree knowing that if they got caught they would be in big trouble. Kenny knew though that Byron was using him so if he got in trouble he would have Kenny to blame too! Anyways, so while they were eating Byron decided to throw a cookie at a bird. He threw one, but missed. Then he threw another cookie, but missed again. Then he through another one once more, but missed again. Now, Kenny knew that if Byron missed this one he would be very angry! So, Byron tried again, and he hit the bird. He killed it too, and Kenny was so surprised! He had never seen a bird get killed. So, he started telling this to Byron, but instead of Byron showing his pride he went to where the bird got killed and started throwing up and crying. Kenny finally realized that Byron was showing compassion. So, he went to comfort him, BUT Byron punched him really hard! He probably did this, because he did not want Kenny to see "the other side of him"! Later, Byron went and dug up the bird and made a grave for it.
