If I were President During 9/11
If I were President during 9/11 I would fly to New York City. Then I would look at all the damage that was made. Then I would give a speech. 9/11 should be remembered in a way. A way because of all the people who have been injured or dead. Right now I think we should give a silence remembering all the hard working people who aren't with us anymore. Since the World Trade Centers are not here anymore I think that we should build a monument right where the buildings were. On this monument I want everyone who has died, and if they were injured. I shall now have the silence. Then we can get back to work and find anyone who is still covered in ashes and the remains of the building. Thank you to everyone who is helping. Helping people to find food and shelters. Good-Bye for now. We will deal with this more in the next couple of years. This is what I would say if I were President during that time. I think that parts of the speech could use a little more work. This speech would also be said at the Pentagon where part of it was knocked off. This was very sad. I do not want it to happen again.By Shelby! Post a comment!

Journey Home
I think they could help them by telling them that they should try and get a job working for the Americans. It might take a little long but it worked for Yuki's family. Or they can just sit there and wait for them to get out. That would take even longer. Yuki's neighbor treats her different after Yuki yelled at her. So now she treats her so very well.
peace out

Billy and Rueben
I am comparing and contrasting Billy and Rueben.
Billy is very careful. He does not want to get hurt. Also he doesn't want his dogs going off and getting in fights. Billy is a lot smarter than him (sometimes). But when he set his ax on the ground and it killed Rueben it was not smart.
Rueben has an old blue tick hound. He really doesn't care what he does. I think he is mean. Because he is so big and scary. Billy said that he could knock you down.
See u l8ter

Number the Stars
I am going to compare and contrast 2 characters from Number the Stars.
Ann Marie: Lives in Denmark during the time when German Soldiers came and were closing down Jewish stores and taking the Jewish to concentration camps where they were badly treated. Ann Marie was not Jewish. She had two sisters named Kirsty and Lee. Lee died in an accident two weeks before her wedding with a guy named Peter. Peter visits them often. His job takes him all around the world.
Ellen: Ellen also lives in Denmark during the same time. Her best friend is a girl who lives next door named Ann Marie. Ellen is Jewish and hopes she won't be taken away by the Germans. She goes to the same school with Ann Marie. Please comment I hardly have any!

Church Bombing
In the book the Watson's go to Birmingham 1963 Joey has gone to church on Sunday morning. Back at the grandma's house Kenny heard a huge explosion. He rushes inside and Byron is trying to get his pants on. Byron said that a man came up to him and told him that a huge bomb just exploded at Joey's church. Kenny is speechless so he runs to the 16th street Baptist Church. He goes inside the church and under one bench he sees a shiny, shiny, shoe. But he can't get it because the wool pool is tugging on the other part of the shoe. Kenny finally gave it one more yank and it comes loose. Kenny starts to walk home wondering where his little sister was. He goes to his bedroom when all of a sudden Joey is back. But he thinks the wool pool is taking her on a journey with her family before she leaves. Well Joey wants to know what is wrong with him. She also wants to know where mom and dad are. Kenny won't tell her. He only tells her that she will see them and a few minutes. Joey doesn't understand. So she goes and tells grandma. What will happen next? Find out in this book!
This really did happen about the bombing of 16th street Baptist church. The Klu Klux Klan group planted bombs near the basement of the church. They wanted the African Americans to be afraid of them. They never thought this would happen again. A result of 4 girls died. This was very sad.
